Why do you do what you do in relationships?

WOMEN’S GET RELATIONSHIPS RIGHT COACHING TIP: Relationships seem so natural, like breathing. And if relationships are not working for us, we try to fix that on our own. We try harder. We give more of less. We protect ourselves more, try to be more careful. Try to say or do the right thing.

Yet, for many women, relationships still don’t work in the way they want, don’t provide that deep sense of satisfaction we crave that is supposed to come from being in a loving relationship.

The key to know is relationships are no more natural than riding a bike. Relationship behavior is learned. It’s just learned early, so early that we don’t remember learning it. And if you learned wrong behavior and choices, or learned to expect the wrong thing or want the wrong thing, no amount of trying is going to make relationships better for you, until you unlearn the wrong way and learn the right way.

That’s one of the things I do for clients in coaching – I help them unlearn the wrong way to do relationships, and learn the right way. If you would like that for yourself, you can sample coaching by registering for the 30-minute sample Get Clarity coaching session.
