DATING: You are dating someone. Things are going well. You think maybe this relationship will actually work. Maybe this person will actually be the one. You dare to hope, to be happy. And then things start to veer off course. You can’t really tell why, but the relationship starts to look and feel like your past relationships, more and more, over time.

How do you stop the tide of the relationship veering off course, and turning into something you don’t want? You can’t change your partner’s behavior. Instead, look at and then change what you are doing. You can stop the relationship from self-destructing if you become conscious and stop your part in the destruction of it.

Singles, Dating or Break up Recovery tips are posted every Tuesday. Want the tips delivered to you? Get them delivered by email, via RSS feed, or on Facebook.
